Help Along the Course Marathon medical personnel, in orange vests, will be along the course and at the finish. A medical team will be ready at each of the 13 aid stations, along with first aid volunteers and communications personnel, in yellow shirts, located throughout the course. Complete medical information will be in your race packet.
Please keep in mind, medical personnel will only be on the course as long as the aid stations are open. Closing vehicles will travel at a 13:44 minute per mile pace dismantling aid stations and mile markers, so that traffic may resume.
Weather The October 1 average high temperature is 65°F, the average low is 45°F, and sunrise is at 7:13 a.m. If the temperature at the start is typically Minnesotan (low 40°F's to 30°F's), we recommend a long-sleeved polypropylene or wool top and something on your hands. Poly gloves are fine, or just an old pair of socks that you can discard once you warm up. If it's in the 50°F's or above, a T-shirt or singlet and shorts are appropriate.
Race Course Photography Action Sports International, professional photographers, will be available along the course and at the finish. Please make race number visible on the front of your clothing.
